It was moved to its current location at 205 West Main Street in 1977 where it was used as an art center. Later, it became the museum’s exhibit design shop and has recently been renovated and renamed the Anne Biggers Furr Learning Station with support from Rennie and Anne Bradley Biggers, the Community Foundation of Gaston County, and the Carrie E. and Lena V. Glenn Foundation. In addition to music events, The Depot will also host art exhibits, programs, and other museum functions.
