M. Robinson Student Council 8th Annual Band Wars
On April 17 the Jay M. Robinson Student Council is hosting the 8th
Annual Band
Wars competition. Band Wars is the only competition of its kind in
Cabarrus
County. Student bands from all over Cabarrus County will compete for
a monetary
prize and time in a recording studio. The expected audience is
500-700 people,
most of whom will be high school students from Cabarrus County
Schools. The
Council's main fundraising goal for this year is to raise enough
money to
send a child from our school to the Victory Junction Gang Camp in
Randleman,
North Carolina. Victory Junction specializes in giving the
traditional "summer
camp experience" to terminally ill children. For more information,
please
call Hanna at 704-502-9370.
