***5K Run for Clean Air Runners and walkers can find race details online at www.cleanaircarolina.org, and register for the 5K trail run or 5K trail walk along the 5K championship cross country course, or Tot Trot for ages one to eight years. The registration cost for adults is $20 before May 8, $25 until May 21, and $30 on the day of the race. The Tot Trot registration cost is $10. Race day registration and timing chip pick-up takes place from 7-7:45 a.m. at McAlpine Creek Park.

**Special Artist Opportunity: A Chance to Sell Work and Perform Across N.C. The N.C. Department of Cultural Resources is launching a new program this summer called 2nd Saturdays: History, Heritage, Arts & Fun. These 2nd Saturday events in June, July and August are an opportunity for artists to showcase their work at more than 30 state historic sites and museums across the state. The dates of the Saturday events are June 12, July 10 and August 14. **Daniel Coston - "The Unbroken Circle: Johnny Cash photographs, summer 2003," will be on display at Dish Restaurant in Charlotte, NC from March 15th to the end of April. Mounted to coincide with the release of Cash's final recordings from this period, these remarkable photograph by Daniel Coston document Cash's final public appearances, and the only shows he performed after the death of his wife, June Carter Cash.
