I must say that I appreciate and respect your work as a  promoter, simply for the love of music, with my fullest capability. The Avett  Brothers work everyday from the time we wake until the time we sleep. I never  stop and doubt I will ever be able to. Musicians and artist can go months  without paychecks and never even consider another line of work. I know this  because it is how I live as an artist and musician. My point is this.....THANK  YOU. Thank you to those who  have reciprocated links or shown appreciation or have supported me in some way  throughout the years.  This weekly newsletter not only takes many, many hours to  compile, distribute, blog and promote, but also costs a monthly fee.  As many  have shared with me, it's both a valuable resource, and a treasured promotional  tool. I started it, (in 2003), as a service to my musician clients and friends  who, at the time, had few ways of promoting their shows, or a publication that  would have an interest in writing about, or even listing their independent  shows. It has grown since then to include much more, but its purpose remains the  same - not to be a comprehensive list, but a way to help promote and advertise  those artists and venues I'm familiar enough with to personally recommend, and  whom I feel may need, and appreciate, what I do.
